Fiso

WORLD OBSTACLE, the Fédération Internationale de Sports d’Obstacles, is the international governing body for obstacle sports and related disciplines worldwide. The organization is a member-based, not-for-profit, independent, international organization in which National Federations propose and vote on policies and rules for their benefit. WORLD OBSTACLE was granted GAISF Observer Status in 2021. Currently, FISO incorporates more than 80 worldwide national organizations.

The Mission of World Obstacle is to promote and regulate the sport of Obstacle Course Racing – and it’s related disciplines – throughout the world, and meet the requirements as specified by the International Olympic Committee and the International Paralympic Committee. We only promote official World Championships in various disciplines and events for our member federations and their athlete members and eventually provide a route to International Multi-Sport Games. Examples of Multisport Games include the South East Asian Games, Pan Am Games and the Summer Olympic Games.
